We're a small agency, not an ad-tech company. This page explains in plain English what happens to your information when you visit this site or get in touch.
Last updated July 20, 2026
Our contact form asks for your name, email, phone number, and a short message. We use that to contact you about your inquiry, to prepare a proposal if you want one, and to keep a record of our conversation. Form submissions are checked for spam and then delivered to our email inbox.
We keep what you send us in our own customer-relationship system, so the next person who talks to you already knows the history and you don't have to repeat yourself. If we can tell who you are — because you contacted us, or followed a link from an email we sent — we also record which pages you look at here, so that when we do follow up we're talking about the thing you actually care about instead of guessing. This is for our own follow-up only: we don't sell it, share it, or hand it to advertisers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately, and you can ask us to delete your record at any time.
To be completely straight with you about the timing: while we don't know who you are, that list of pages is kept in your own browser's storage and is not sent to us. If you later identify yourself — by sending us the form, or by clicking a link in one of our emails — the pages from that visit are attached to your record at that point, so we can see what you'd been reading in the lead-up. That backlog is limited to the last 30 days and to your most recent 50 pages, and it's discarded once it's been attached. If you never identify yourself, it stays on your device and we never receive it. Clearing your browser's site data for eterniadigital.com erases it immediately.
Like nearly every website, ours records basic technical details when you visit: the pages you view, the site or search that sent you, your approximate location (city or region, from your network address), and what browser and device you're using. Here is every tool doing that, and what each one actually does:
| Tool | What it does | What it collects | Opt out |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Web Analytics | Counts page views and measures how fast pages load. | No cookies. No cross-site tracking. No fingerprinting. | Nothing to opt out of — it never identifies you. |
| CallRail | Swaps in a tracking phone number so we know which marketing brought in a call. | Sets a cookie. Records the phone number you call from, and calls may be recorded. | Ask us — this data is ours, not CallRail’s, so we can delete it. Blocking cookies also stops it. |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Checks that form submissions come from a person, not a bot. | Looks at browser signals during the check. No advertising use. | No opt-out — it only runs when you submit the form (details) |
| RB2B | Tells us when someone from a business visits, sometimes including a name and LinkedIn profile. | Matches your visit against third-party business-contact data. US visitors only. | Opt out (Retention.com form — RB2B runs on their data) |
| Leadfeeder (Dealfront) | Identifies the company a visit came from — not the individual. | Matches your network address to a company record. Sets a cookie. | Email [email protected] to access or delete (30-day response) |
We want to be straightforward about this one, because it surprises people. Services like these compare signals from your visit against commercial databases of business contacts. When there's a match, we may see the company you work for and sometimes your name and professional profile — even if you never filled out a form.
Specifically: when you visit our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email address. You may opt out of this at app.retention.com/optout.
In practice, we use this for one reason: most of our work comes from referrals and word of mouth, and it helps us understand which organizations are paying attention so we know where to focus. We don't cold-email people just because they showed up here, and we don't sell or share what it tells us. Opting out at the link above applies across every site using that service, not only ours.
Some of the tools above set cookies — small files your browser stores. You can block or delete them in your browser settings at any time; the site works fine without them. Our analytics for page speed and traffic counts is cookie-free by design.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do rely on service providers to run the business — website hosting, email delivery, form processing, call tracking, and the analytics tools listed above. They only handle your information to provide their service to us. We'll also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.
Inquiries and client records stay as long as we're working together and for a reasonable period afterward for tax, legal, and warranty reasons. Analytics data is kept in aggregate. If you want your information removed sooner, ask us.
If you live in California, Washington, or another state with a consumer privacy law, you have rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We extend those same rights to everyone who contacts us, regardless of where you live, because keeping two sets of rules is silly.
The site is served over an encrypted connection, forms are protected against automated abuse, and access to our systems is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take it seriously.
This is a business-to-business site. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If we add or remove a tool, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be called out here rather than buried.
